About the Matchstick Prize:
Causewave Community Partners, The Credit Union Collective (Reliant, The Summit and Pittsford Federal Credit Unions) and The Democrat & Chronicle have partnered on a unique prize for local nonprofits, recognizing the organizations that spark change in our community. The Matchstick Prize will go to a small nonprofit organization that has demonstrated results in achieving meaningful community change in Greater Rochester .
The nonprofit winner of the fourth ever Matchstick Prize will receive a cash prize of $5,000 from The Credit Union Collective, along with donated print and digital media space from the Democrat and Chronicle, valued at $25,000! Consultation and details on the media will be provided to the winner post-prize announcement.
