Causewave Community Partners and D&C Digital have partnered once again on a unique prize for local nonprofits, recognizing the organizations that spark change in our community. The Matchstick Prize will go to a small nonprofit organization that has demonstrated results in achieving meaningful community change to make Rochester greater.
The nonprofit winner of the third-annual Matchstick Prize will receive a cash prize of $5,000 from D&C Digital, along with donated media space in the Democrat and Chronicle, valued at $25,000! Consultation and details on using donated media space will be provided to the winner post-prize announcement.
NOMINATIONS ARE DUE BY Monday, April 3, 2017 at 5pm.
Finalists will be notified end of April and winner announced at our Annual Celebration breakfast on Thursday, May 11, 2017! Grant will be awarded early Fall 2017.

RULES & INSTRUCTIONS:
- Nominated organizations must be a 501c3 organization with an annual operating budget of $1 million or less. In addition to filling out the form below, please email a copy of organization's 501c3 status and budget documentation (i.e. annual report) to firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Applications must demonstrate how the organization’s work resulted in meaningful and measurable impact on the community.
- Organization must be locally based with a direct impact on the Greater Rochester area. Local chapters of national organizations may be nominated but the standard of measurable impact on our local community will be used in assessing the nomination.
- Please submit only one application per organization; multiple nominations will not be considered.
